Sephora Sale Must-Haves 2021
The Sephora sale is going on right now, so I thought I would share all my must-have products that I use on repeat! I have tried SO many products over the years but there are only a small handful that I constantly restock on and would recommend to you guys! Below, I broke them down by category and how I use them!
But first…
A few things I learned about my skin:
Identify your skin type. I have acne prone, combination skin and I’m starting to see some fine lines come through. Hello 30’s!
My skin craves moisture in the winter but is oilier in the summer, so my products do change with the seasons.
My skin doesn’t love vitamin C products, so I try to avoid those. I noticed some small breakouts with them which initiated me to stop using them.
I LOVE masks! Alternating between hydrating sheet masks and pore cleansing masks works best for me.
My AM + PM skincare routines are very different. I love a lighter moisturizer during the day and a face oil at night.
If you’re using a hyaluronic serum, make sure to apply to damp skin then lock in the moisture with a cream or oil for best results.
Derma-planing once a month makes a HUGE difference in the texture of my skin.
I love using a micro-current device before bed!
SKINCARE
Having a good skincare routine is CRUCIAL. If your skin doesn’t look good, then your makeup wont sit on your skin the way you want it to. You also want to feel confident going make-up free! I love to switch it up, especially seasonally and have specific products I like to use when my skin needs extra hydration or a little detox, but these products are my absolute go-to’s.
HAIRCARE
Before I style my hair, I love using a pinch of this! TBH I love the whole set!
Hair masks are a part of my weekly routine, especially when I use hot tools.
Whenever I get a blowout, I use these scrunchies to create a ballerina bun on top of my head before bedtime.
Try this wavy hairstyle using this tool! It’s so fun!
MAKEUP
I start with this foundation (color: corsica) using this brush, then use this concealer (color: chicory) under my eyes and for any blemishes I may have.
This is my fav bronzer / palette
I’m a HUGE fan of blush and use just a little on the apple of my cheekbones
And highlighter is a non-negotiable!!
A brow pen is probably the #1 makeup product I would take with me on a deserted island
And I recently started using a lip liner and It’s such a game changer
This is the only mascara I will use
