Current Beauty Obsessions

March 16, 2017

I’ve never been one to do a heavy make-up look or over-do it with colors. I love the idea of playing with eye shadows and bright lipsticks but I always feel that I just can’t pull them off. Anyone else with me?!

I always feel more confident when my skin is behaving and minimal foundation or tinted moisturizer does the trick. Not only does it save me time in front of the mirror but also tons of money. I used to be a beauty junkie which earned me my VIB Rouge status at Sephora, but those days long gone. I recently cleared out my vanity and only kept the essentials. I was shocked at how many products I owned that I haven’t touched in years! Spring cleaning is going well so far.

Combined with a clean eating plan, these six (6) beauty products are my current go-to’s that truly saved my skin and gave it that post-facial glow.

  1. Osea Malibu Ocean Cleanser: This gentle cleanser has been perfect for my skin during the freezing months. It’s tough enough to get my makeup off but leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated.

  2. Dessert Essence Natural Tea Tree Oil Facial Cleansing Pads: My post-workout essential. These pads really saved my little breakouts after intense gym sessions. I also love using them after cleansing my skin at night to get rid of any excess dirt and oils from the city’s pollution.

  3. Osea Malibu Vitamin Sea Serum: I use this morning and night because it gives my skin an extra kick of moisture and helps with adding a natural glow.

  4. Elta MD UV Daily Broad Spectrum Tinted Moisturizer SPF 40: I know you’ve heard it before, but SPF is so important to wear everyday! This tinted lightweight moisturizer keeps my skin hydrated, protected and lightly covered all day long. I’ve been using it for about two years now and it consistently works in the winter and on the beach.

  5. Farmacy Eye Dew Total Eye Cream: This .5oz bottle has lasted me months, no joke. I put a little on in the AM and PM and have noticed the dullness around my sleepy eyes vanish.

  6. Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil: This facial oil has fixed it all. I apply a generous amount before bed and wake up with noticeably glowing skin. It has simultaneously hydrated my skin and combated my little breakouts.
